It would be one thing if I was getting allergy shots every two weeks or every month, but that's going to take awhile. I'm getting 'em every week. It's one thing to have my MD copy the records which include instructions on dosage & administering the shots in another state, but Mr Sponge traveled overseas yesterday.
I couldn't go with and it was prophetic. He got stranded in Logan Saturday night as the British Airways flight was delayed with a mechanical problem. He phoned me at 8 PM and told me the story, and all I could say is where are they going to get a part for an aircraft at this hour, and it's prophetic Mimi and I are staying home. She'd be going stir crazy & driving others crazy with the delay, and he told me kids were stir crazy in the airport.
So yesterday he arrives in London & his luggage has been lost. If I had gone my injection vials would have been in a check in bag, to have the airline lose 'em. Oh boy, and I am HIGHLY ALLERGIC to dust mites, which settle everywhere on just about every surface. He finally was able to call me today having arrived safely home. I'm happy we're staying here for 3 weeks with me taking time off!
